Polly has had many private showcases and has displayed her work in "The Neighborhood" gallery in San Francisco, California. Her work also has been shown in the San Jose Symphony Decorator Showcase and I. Magnin. |

Her work is in many private collections as well as in four star restaurants and public buildings. In the South San Francisco bay area her paintings are in the La Mere Michelle restaurant in Saratoga, Emiles in San Jose and Fontanas in Cupertino.

She has worked for decorating services doing many custom commissions. Her paintings have appeared in Better Homes and Gardens, Travel and Leisure, and local color magazines.

Polly paints in the mediums of oil, acrylic and watercolors. She does landscapes, animals, still life, but her great love is figures. Her likenesses are amazingly life like, but she has a special ability in capturing the spirit and personality of her subjects.

Polly majored in art at the College of The Pacific (UOP). She has painted all her life, and has also taught art.

She is married to Dr. Harlan S. Parks and resides at Lake of the Pines near Auburn, California. Previously she lived in Saratoga, California. She is the mother of two sons and a daughter and grandmother of five. |
